The J6 Committee waited until the last days of their congressional term, a few days before Christmas, before the seating of the next Congress in January 2023 which will be controlled by Republicans, to disgracefully recommend that President Trump be indicted, prosecuted and imprisoned for holding opinions they disagree with. They forget that this is still not the communist country that they seem to seek, one where questioning the legitimacy of an election would be a political crime.
President Trump was entirely within his constitutional rights and was, indeed, exercising his responsibilities as President of the United States when he called for an investigation of election fraud in certain states at the time of the January 6th Assembly and where he sought to challenge the seating of appointed delegations. On January 6th, every four years following the previous November election, an assembly is convened by which delegates from the respective states elect the President of the United States.
The constitution allows for challenges to State delegations at that time by means of a signed letter, signed jointly by at least one Representative and one Senator, calling for a hearing which may last up to two hours. At the conclusion of the said hearing, the President of the Assembly, who is also the Vice President of the United States, then holds the plenary power, according to the US Constitution, to either recognize or not recognize the delegation sent by the State. If the President of the Assembly declines to recognize the delegation, the delegation is then sent back to the State which holds the option of sending back an alternative delegation.
If enough delegates are not recognized after this process of hearings, and if no candidate achieves enough delegates to become President of the United States as a result, than a special session of Congress is convened where each state sends one representative appointed by state legislatures. That special session then votes to elect the president.
Variations of this theme, including special sessions and state challenges, have occurred in numerous past elections including the elections of 1800, 1824, 1870, 1960, 2004 and 2017. The New York Times published an excellent Op/Ed documenting this history. The authors of the US Constitution specifically called for this process in order to insure that presidential elections would not be stolen and that evidence of such fraud, if any, would be made available for the public to judge.
As disgraceful as these calls for indictment against President Trump is the idea that the Democrats in Congress plan to release the former presidents tax returns to try to embarrass him. This ugly breach of privacy threatens every American taxpayer as any of us could be held up to such ridicule and scorn if we run afoul of the powers that be. Once again, a classic communist tactic, one that should be roundly condemned by Americans who care about such improper violations of basic rights and such indecency.
Some Democrats in Congress, and their lackeys in the mockingbird media, admit that the last decrepit days of political power they seek to prevent Trump, a private citizen, from ever running for office again. What an un-democratic and disgusting spectacle they have presented, one that should be condemned by any American who cares about fairness and rights.
The Great Establishment Deception
This book of social theory identifies two forms of antisemitism. The first form, which may apply with variations to any minority group, is the normal prejudice and bigotry that we all, to varying degrees, hold toward “the other.” Based upon combinations of suspicion, fear, envy and ignorance, this unpleasant but natural form of antisemitism is best reduced and in some cases dispelled by compassion, human interaction and love.
The second form is the antisemitic imagination and this involves the weaponizing of the first form by adding various conspiracy theories. This weaponization is usually conducted at various levels by an establishment, in the form of a government which may either directly or informally collude with establishment entities of business, media, academia, entertainment and finance. By exploiting antisemitic conspiracy theories, the establishment deflects attention away from its own agendas and its own malfeasance by pointing the ...
The American Reichstag Fire is available on Amazon Books
As the author of The American Reichstag Fire, I now expect to be thrown in prison. Now that President Trump and 18 of his lawyers and associates have been indicted and face prison in Fulton County, Georgia than I expect to be next. In my case they probably won’t even bother with the formalities. They will probably just call me an insurrectionist and a white supremacist, even though I don’t happen to be white, and then lock me up in some gulag like the one they keep in D.C. They keep that gulag for anyone who might have been near the US Capitol during the fed inspired riots that shut down the Electoral Assembly on January 6th, 2021. That assembly was the last opportunity to get to the bottom of whether the election was stolen.
We will now not likely ever know for sure since they shut down the hearings scheduled for 7 states and then re-assembled around midnight in order to gavel Biden into the presidency without any hearings or the ...
What liberals and Democrats need to understand
INTERVIEW CHARLES MOSCOWITZ: [email protected] / (617) 271-5044
Charles Moscowitz is the author of the new book: The American Reichstag Fire - The political and sociological consequences of a false flag
Given the fact that former President Donald Trump is favored to win the Republican nomination for President in 2024, it is now high time for liberals and for Democrats to at least begin to re-assess their attitudes toward Trump and the MAGA movement. In spite of 7 years of non-stop negative media, Trump and his movement not only continue to endure as a powerful and potent political and social force, but the movement appears to be gaining new momentum in the face of the prosecution and indictments of the front-runner.
Liberals and Democrats need to look beyond their narrow talking points and consider the reasons for this momentum. Indeed, such an examination, and such a national conversation, is critical to preserving the cohesive ...
